5th Annual Professional Baseball Chiropractic Society Seminar

Over the weekend Dr. Bucek was at the 5th annual Professional Baseball Chiropractic Society Seminar and Workshop at the Baltimore Orioles spring training facility! Dr Bucek learned  new techniques, got introduced to some new technology that aids in healing (may be coming to the office soon!), and got to hear some of the latest research on concussion management and shoulder issues!

Dr. Bucek learned a new tool to aid with mobility brought to you by RockTape! RockFloss is an elastic band used to loosen up muscles and reduce joint pain and can be used on almost any part of the body.

Dr. Bucek also learned Learning trunk mobilizations for throwing athletes!

Dr. Bucek on Medical Staff for AVP Pro Beach Volleyball Tournament in Chicago 2018

Dr. Bucek spent Labor Day weekend in Chicago.  Dr. Bucek was selected by the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) to be part of the Volunteer Sports Medicine Team at the AVP Chicago Volleyball Gold Series Tournament! Dr. Bucek and other Medical Professions that were also selected spending the weekend   provided treatment for the athletes during the event.  Dr. Bucek has a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians Meaning, in addition to the five years of education to become a chiropractor, Dr. Bucek had an additional five years of Sports Medicine training. He earned his Diplomate from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians™, making him 1 of 6 to do so in Illinois.
