Dr. Bucek Sports Medicine and Sports Chiropractic provider for PGA Event

 



Dr. Bucek Will be serving as a sports medicine and Sports Chiropractic provider for the Korn Ferry Tour’s 2021 Evans Scholars Invitational. The Evans Scholars Invitational will be held at the Glen Club in Glenview, IL on May 26 – 30. The Korn Ferry Tour is the developmental tour for the U.S.-based PGA Tour, and features professional golfers who have either not yet reached the PGA tour, or who have done so, but then failed to win enough FedEx Cup points to stay at that leave. Since the 2013 season, the Korn Ferry Tour has been the primary pathway for those Seeking to earn their PGA Tour card.

 

All PGA Tour and Champions Tour events have a sports chiropractic provider on site for all the players to utilized. Chiropractic adjustments improve posture, flexibility, decrease the risk of injury and allow for full range of motion. Dr. Bucek expects to be treating in particularly a back injuries, due to the repetitive rotation and torque placed on the spine during thousands of golf swings. As well as shoulder and elbow injuries which are also quite common in golfers. Dr. Bucek’s arduous training as a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians™ (DACBSP®) provided him instruction specific to physical fitness and the evaluation and treatment of injuries encountered in sports. Thus, the reason why he was selected as a sports medicine and Sports Chiropractic provider for the Korn Ferry Tour’s 2021 Evans Scholars Invitational.
